Anna Kim

Anna is an associate with Stewart & Company and has experience in all areas of general litigation, with a current focus on motor vehicle insurance defence litigation. Before joining Stewart & Company, Anna practiced in Alberta focusing on commercial litigation, acting as counsel in multi-party commercial disputes, and plaintiff personal injury claims. Her prior insurance litigation experience includes slip and falls, dog bites and plaintiff motor vehicle accidents. Anna also has experience in residential real estate transactions, divorce and child custody disputes, wills and estates planning and Adult Guardianship and Trusteeship applications. With her undergraduate degree in biological sciences and psychology, Anna takes a holistic and practical approach to finding solutions for her clients.

Anna has appeared before the BC Supreme Court, Provincial Court of Alberta and the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench. She has trial experience at both the Provincial and Supreme Court levels and with Underinsured Motorist Protection arbitration proceedings, acted as counsel in mediations, examinations for discoveries and in judicial dispute resolution proceedings in Alberta. She is conversational in Korean and has assisted Korean clients in their language.

In her personal life, Anna is the apologetic but absent parent of a miniature fluffy American Eskimo who lives back on the home range in Alberta. In her spare time when she is not pining away for her dog, Anna enjoys acrylic painting and cooking lavish meals.
